Who We Are

Matthew Hofland passed away April 22, 2007 as a a result of a dirt bike accident. He was 17 years old with his whole life ahead of him. He was a very special kid who had passion for Christ, life and people!

A scholarship was set up in lieu of flowers at the time of his death. An amazing $12,000 was donated for the scholarship.

In June of 2007 two scholarships were given at Eden to Katelyn Stevenson and Brighton Coterbosh.

On October 6, 2007 we had the First Annual Golf Tournament, called "M. Hoff Memorial Golf Classic". An unbelievable $15,000 was raised for the scholarship.

On the one year anniversary of Matthew's death, April 22, 2008, a non-profit foundation was officially formed to broaden the scope of youth that could be helped.

On September 13, 2008, the Second Annual M. Hoff Golf Classic took place with all money raised going to the Matthew Hofland Legacy Foundation.
